Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors Giveaways at Pollystaffle
Our bros over at Pollystaffle.com are having some giveaways over at their site for Fangoria's upcoming Weekend of Horrors. Amongst the available prizes are tickets to a showing of "Night of the Living Dead" with select members of the cast, tickets to a screening of Wicked Lake and also the premiere showing of Amateur Porn Star Killer 2. There will be movie poster giveaways at the APSK2 screenings and director Shane Ryan will be in attendance.

Zombie Nosh
Every year around Halloween, I see advertisements for Haunted Hayrides at farms and cider mills and stuff in the area. I can't honestly say that I've ever been on one, and if this movie is any indication of what I should expect... I might not be going on any hayrides in the foreseeable future.
Trancers
Up for review today is the first of a 6 film series. 1985's Trancers, directed by Charles Band, starring Tim Thomerson (Iron Eagle, and too many other things to mention) as Jack Deth - a trooper sent from the future to the year 1985. Deth is trying to stop a criminal mastermind named Whistler, who controls his victims through some mysterious psychic ability that turns them into zombies. Whistler is trying to go back and kill his enemies ancestors so they're wiped out in his present time.
War of the Dead
Nazi zombies seek revenge on the soldiers that killed them in World War II. When WWII veterans start dropping dead from grenade attacks, special agent Kelly Conda hunts down the Nazi zombies that are the linked to these mysterious deaths. Camille Djokoto (Special Agent Kelly Conda) stars in "War of the Dead" directed by Sean Cisterna.
