Death Warmed Up
Doctor's offices are weird places. It always seems like no matter what time you set up your appointment, you won't see your doctor for a few hours, regardless of when you show up. Last time I went to the doc's I had an appointment at 9am, and I waited until at least 11 before he ever came into the room to check in on me. In the case of David Blyth's 1986 film "Death Warmed Up" the main character Michael Tucker (Played by Michael Hurst: known by some as Charon from Xena: Warrior Princess) goes to the hospital and sees a doctor right away.
Amateur Porn Star Killer
Amateur Porn Star Killer is the debut film from director/writer/actor Shane Ryan. The entire movie is filmed from the perspective of Ryan's character using a hand held camera. Ryan plays the part of Brandon, an 18 year old who's on his way to visit his mom, and decides to make an overnight stop in a small town. While he's staying the night in a motel, it seems that he has a lot more planned for his night than just having a quiet evening alone. While he's stopped off in this town, he picks up his video camera and decides that he's going to cruise around and during his drive, he finds a young 18 year old girl named Stacy (Michiko Jimenez) that's outside waiting for her ride. Filming the entire encounter, he prefaces it as going out and having some fun with this girl, and maybe a little more.
Dead & Buried
Sheriff Gillis (James Farentino) gets enveloped in an outbreak of murders in the small, sleepy town of Potters Bluff, Rhode Island. The bodies of miscellaneous drifters and tourists are quickly stacking up throughout the small town within a matter of a few days. As sheriff Gillis invesigates these savage murders, he discovers clues that suggest William Dobbs (Jack Albertson - Grampa Buckett from the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and some of the town locals may be the cause of these grotesque crimes - So begins director Gary Sherman's 1981 film Dead & Buried.
Trancers II
Hot off the heels of the awesome 1986 sci-fi psuedo zombie flick, Trancers, comes it's 1991 sequel Trancers II. This installment of Trancers is again directed Charles Band, who also wrote the story for both trancers movies so far. Jack Deth (Tim Thomerson) has been living for 5 years in the old Los Angeles, living with Lena (Helen Hunt), cruising around being the hard ass tough guy that Jack Deth is. This time, Whistler's brother has gone back to old California trying to kill off the relatives of future leaders again. Since Deth has been away from the future too long his body is in a calcified state, so in order to get him back on track, they decide to send his boss McNulty (played by career character actor Art LaFleur) to clue Deth into the happenings, and to get him back into the Trancer war.
