I "watched" this in a drive-in double feature with Texas Chainsaw Massacre in '79 when I was 5 years old. I still remember hiding behind the seat of my mom's car. I recently bought a German widescreen (16x9) DVD release of it and it's as awesome as I remember. Great write-up! I read a few things where people were saying it was a low budget film, but it looked pretty quality to me. I'd been wanting to see this one for a long time, and I'm glad I got the chance to sit down and finally watch it. Yeah, this is definately a “so bad it’s good” movie.
