I reneted this movie with some friends when we had a sleepover.I had a feeling it was goona be bad.It was actually weird.we were all laughing at it at first,then it got a little gorey.We spent the rest of the night scaring each other.

I watched this movie a few years ago and I don’t see who it is related to Halloween. I mean Michael Meyers wasn’t even in it! It just didn’t seem to flow well with the other movies. I really expected Roger to die at the end, and when he didn’t I was pretty bummed. I just thought his character was very one dimensional. But Gregory Scott Cummins as Tommy was awesome! I think it was this movie that helped him get the role in Batman Returns.

I was just reading some reviews about this movie..I sat through it and thought twice about doing it..I have 700 cable channels and have seen much much worse…it’s cute and simple and everyone seems like they’re up to something…only at the end do you find out! :-*)

I thought “Hack O’Lantern” was Great! The special effects were believeable enough to make up for some of that bad acting.I agree with someones comment that the chacters looked older than they were playing.I also agree with another comment,that Roger (Jeff Brown) looked young and innocent…and handsome and that maybe he didn’t look old and haggard because he is blonde and probably was oblivous to what was going on in his own house.The others,well that’s what you look like when you grow up in a satanic cult.I give it a 6th pentagram just for Roger! Maybe we should take away 1 though,just for Hy Pike!I’ve never seen anyone take so long to die.

I thought once got into it the movie got better and better.Once the kids grew up and the killing began it was good.I agree the characters look oddly aged,but maybe that’s what happens when you live in a satanic cult.Roger(Jeff Brown) did look a youthful age and was very handsome and innocent looking…since he is blonde,maybe he was just too oblivious to worry about what was going on in his own house.I give “Hack o’lantern” a 6th pentagram just for Roger,the chosen one…after all…he looks nothing like his grandfather.

I was thinking of hiring that “comedian” for my next birthday party. I was hoping he’d do his turkey imitation for me. The way he kept moving his hands around, I thought he was going to a magic trick.

This movie was great, it’s definitely worth it if you can get your hands on it.

wow. That “comedian” must have blown the director or something to get that cameo in the movie cuz WOW was that bad!! BUTTT This sounds like a movie right up my alley! Needless to say I’d have to watch it when my hubby was not home – he has his limits unfortunately – but this one definitely looks too awful to be bad. Bring on the cheese!
