Lady Dragon 2 (aka Angel of Fury)
Sometimes we watch movies that were so forgettable that it doesn't really seem worth writing 1000 words about them. I had an experience with one of those types of movies recently - the Cynthia Rothrock film "Lady Dragon 2" aka "Angel of Fury" - not to be confused with the OTHER Cynthia Rothrock movie called Angel of Fury with Peter O'Brian, which I'm sure is totally awesome. Unfortunately, this Angel of Fury is just plain awful.
Born to be a Warrior (Rodjen kao ratnik)
There is a man who could crush all opponents with using only his skull. He could trade gut shots with giants, and still destroy them in a single blow. This god living in a mere mortal body can do sit ups while holding hundreds of kilograms of weights like they were a bassinet full of newborn quadruplets. He can do the curly shuffle better than any of the three stooges including Shemp. That man is the one and only Gidra, and he comes from the back country of Serbia, or some other eastern European country, to the big city so that he can trade gut shots with bigger competition, under the guise of going to school or something...
Revenge of the Living Dead Girls
Hey everyone, we have a special treat for all of you today! Jorge Antonio Lopez from StrictlySplatter.com has stopped by to write a very special Guest Review for "Revenge of the Living Dead Girls". He's got an awesome horror site, so check it out when you get a chance. We also got a chance to write a review for his site, so watch for more information on that in the coming days. We'd like to extend a gracious thank you to Jorge, and now... On with his review!
Here we have a French zombie picture. It is said to be France's first gore flick and boasts extremely shocking material. It was directed by Pierre B. Reinhard ("GHOST SOLDIER", "LE THEATRE DU GRAND GUIGNOL") and very similar to Jean Rollin's "LA MORTE VIVANTE (1981)" a movie also about zombie girls. Some think that Rollins also directed "REVENGE OF THE LIVING DEAD GIRLS" under a pseudonym. Anyway, let's crack this baby open and see what's inside.
Hack-o-Lantern (aka Halloween Night)
Halloween night is a time for watching horror movies, or tv shows about horror movies. I was getting a little tired of what I was seeing around all the cable networks, so I decided to dig into my own extensive catalog and take a chance on a horror movie I hadn't seen yet. After hemming and hawing, I came across the Jag Mundhra directed 1988 film Hack-o-Lantern (aka Halloween Night). I looked at the synopsis on IMDB, and it read "A kindly old grandfather is actually the leader of a murderous satanic cult which sacrifices its victims on Halloween." Kindly old grandfather is actually the leader of a murderous satanic cult? You don't say? Yep, that sounded like my kind of movie, and a perfect way to cap off a Halloween night.
