Twin Sitters
Twins... Didn't everyone at one point wish they had a twin? Someone you could switch classes with or someone you could play pranks on unknowing bystanders? Maybe you and your twin could bulk up and look like giants compared to normal people and dress like your colorblind mother set your clothes out for you each morning. If the latter was ever your secret wish, then the 1994 flick "Twin Sitters" starring David and Peter Paul might be right up your alley.
Disco Godfather
Rudy Ray Moore is the Tucker Williams, the Disco Godfather - the owner of the very popular Blueberry Hill disco. He dances a mean game, and spins an even meaner game from the DJ booth. When his nephew Bucky gets mixed up in some bad business, Tucker takes it upon himself to rid the streets of that bad stuff!
Black Dynamite
I've been seeing the trailer for Black Dynamite for what seems like decades. But maybe it's just that it's based in the 70's and the trailer has actually been showing on the Internet for almost 2 years. Ever since we saw it me and my buddies were hooked! I was a huge fan of Grindhouse and this was another one of those type movies, a period piece so to speak that doesn't take itself too seriously. Michael Jai White plays the title character and reminds me of Jim Kelly in Black Belt Jones. In fact if you are a fan of that movie or other Blaxploitation movies like it you don't even need to read this review, just go see this flick, I promise you won't be disappointed!
Kamillions
The story for Kamillions is very simple: A scientist has been working on opening a portal to another dimension, and today on his 50th birthday (and coincidentally while his family prepares a birthday party for him), he succeeds. In this other dimension, he sees lifeforms that resemble horseshoe crabs moving around and he notes the activity of these crabs. After the window on his portal machine thing breaks, the scientist Dr. Nathan Wingate (Harry S. Robins) gets sucked into this other dimension, and two of these crab creatures jump out. These crab like creatures have the ability to replicate itself into the image any living body it can come into contact to, or can see (now you can figure out how they got the title). All of this craziness happens as the guests are arriving, and any of the guests are prime targets for this mighty morphin spectacular.
