Halloween III is one of the strangest movies in any movie franchise. As I’ve mentioned before in a previous post, it’s a sequel to film that it has absolutely no relationship to. While it can be said that they tried to incorporate the Silver Shamrock company into the later films of the Halloween franchise, it’s pretty clear that beforehand they really didn’t have any intentions of keeping this film in the continuum of the world that gave birth to Michael Myers. In fact, the only appearance of Michael Myers in this film is a brief clip from the original Halloween of Mr. Myers walking down the stairs as a promo for a broadcast of the original Halloween movie. So while the original intent of this movie was supposed to be a telling of a “halloween story” after Myers death in Halloween II, this movie is really about Dr. Dan Challis (Tom Atkins) and the Silver Shamrock company.
For this week’s Trailer Tuesday, we bring you the 1988 zombie film Flesheater!
What you see in this trailer is truly what you get, as it runs through most of the movie from start to finish. While it looks fairly cheesy and the acting is pretty bad, it’s actually a really fun zombie film. Check out our review of Zombie Nosh for more info on this underrated zombie classic. It’s definitely a great film to watch around Halloween. You’ll show up for the zombies and the totally awesome costume party, but you’ll stay for Night of the Living Dead’s original zombie Bill Hinzman!
For this week’s Trailer Tuesday, we bring you a very rare trailer for Halloween III:
While I’d normally analyze our Tuesday Trailer, I think this one is pretty self explanatory. An evil corporation is going to play a trick on everyone by doing something to the children of American, all on Halloween night. Rather than wax philosophical about the Silver Shamrock, I’d rather bring you a fan made trailer that’s a very close recreation of that original trailer. Enjoy, this updated trailer, and look forward to a review of Halloween III soon on InternalBleeding.net:
