Truth or Dare? – A Critical Madness
A big reason why I got into watching b-movies and awful horror movies was one of my old childhood friends, Chris. He didn't have cable and it always seemed like he and his older brothers would rent any movie they could get their hands on back in the mid 80's when just about everywhere was renting out VHS. There were a few of those movies that I never got to see, and I remember him talking about them a lot. We've actually reviewed a few of those movies, and this one is another one that he used to talk about all the time. In the case of "Truth or Dare? - A Critical Madness", the things he used to say about it was a lot better than this movie actually was once I sat down and watched it for myself.
Revenge of the Living Dead Girls
Hey everyone, we have a special treat for all of you today! Jorge Antonio Lopez from StrictlySplatter.com has stopped by to write a very special Guest Review for "Revenge of the Living Dead Girls". He's got an awesome horror site, so check it out when you get a chance. We also got a chance to write a review for his site, so watch for more information on that in the coming days. We'd like to extend a gracious thank you to Jorge, and now... On with his review!
Here we have a French zombie picture. It is said to be France's first gore flick and boasts extremely shocking material. It was directed by Pierre B. Reinhard ("GHOST SOLDIER", "LE THEATRE DU GRAND GUIGNOL") and very similar to Jean Rollin's "LA MORTE VIVANTE (1981)" a movie also about zombie girls. Some think that Rollins also directed "REVENGE OF THE LIVING DEAD GIRLS" under a pseudonym. Anyway, let's crack this baby open and see what's inside.
Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed
Directed by: Brett Sullivan Written by: Karen Walton & Megan Martin
After mixing blood with her late sister, Brigitte (Emily Perkins) finds herself changing into the beast she failed to prevent her sister from becoming. Every day she shoots up with monkshood in hopes to slow or even cure her disease. Moving from place to place she looks for a cure, and runs from the other beast looking to mate with her. While running from her primal lover she passes out from an overdoes of monkshood. The authorities find her and they assume she is a junkie, so they take her to the local rehab center. Brigitte is denied her daily dose of monkshood and begins to change faster. Will her counselors help her kick her addiction, or will they become dinner for the beast after it gets unleashed?
Virgins from Hell

With me being an emerging fan of Indonesian cinema I was fairly optimistic about the 1987 film Virgins from Hell (Perawan disarang sindikat) directed by Ackyl Anwari. First of all the title sends a mass overload of wonderful images to my mind. And ‘B’ it stars Harry Capri who we all remember from The Stabilizer and Rambu (aka The Intruder). So this should be a good movie filled with high entertainment and some decent nudity right? Let’s see…
