American Ninja 2: The Confrontation
Sam Firstenberg is no stranger to B-movie fans. One of his first directorial efforts was a personal favorite of mine, "Revenge of the Ninja". Thankfully, he continued that ninja streak and only took a short break from that genre to film one of the masterpieces of American cinema with "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo". "American Ninja" was next on his plate, and he took an up and coming actor in Michael Dudikoff and made him a B-movie star. Today I take a look at the sequel - American Ninja 2: The Confrontation!
The Exterminator

After surviving grisly mission in Vietnam, where one of their fellow Army Rangers was beheaded with a machete, John Eastland (Robert Ginty) and Michael Jefferson (Steve James) return to New York to work on a loading dock, moving sides of beef and produce for a grocery store. One day, during a normal work day, John takes a load to a isolated storage unit to find a local gang, the Ghetto Ghouls ransacking it. When he tries to get them to put back the stuff that they're stealing, he gets held up at knifepoint and Michael comes to the rescue. Little do the know how this chance encounter will change their lives forever.
American Ninja
A G.I. with a mysterious past rescues the Colonel's daughter Patricia (Judie Aronson), when his convoy comes under attack from ninjas. While fighting the ninjas, the G.I. - Joe Armstrong (played by Michael Dudikoff) fends off the ninja force in impressive fashion, leading the head Ninja, Black Star Ninja (Tadashi Yamashita) to believe that he has some extraordinary skill, and may be a ninja himself.
