Chopper Chicks in Zombietown
Sometimes when you are looking for a movie to watch little things outside of the synopsis will catch your eye and lure you into the idea that this could be a good movie. Chopper Chicks in Zombie town just happens to be one of those movies for me. Let's dissect the title: "Chopper" - I love American Chopper the series; I watch it every week and I have a new found love for bikes even though you probably will never catch me on one. "Chicks" - I'm a guy right, what's not to like about chicks, especially those on a chopper! "Zombietown" - This sounds like a pretty crazy place, with zombies all over. I think you'd spend most of the time watching your ass for brain hungry zombies, but at least it's not Cleveland! The title has all the making of a fun, scary, rip-roaringly good time right... plus it has Billy Bob Thornton in one of his first roles, and Martha Quinn in one of her last!
Surf Nazis Must Die
After the great quake, the California beaches are a crazy place. Gangs are scrambling to draw up territorial lines for new turf. The Surf Nazis are the toughest of the gangs, and they're snatching purses from old ladies, and beating up random dudes who try to stop those petty crimes. At one point they try to unite the gangs "Warriors" style, but they can't reach an agreement, so it's back to terrorizing the beaches along with it's tourists. This time however, they beat up and killed the wrong dude, and now they have Eleanor Washington to deal with, and those Surf Nazis Must Die!
The Stabilizer
When you hear the names of movies like Commando, Double Impact, Hard to Kill, and Cobra, what comes to mind? How about cheesy, over-the-top action with explosions and bad guys getting their asses handed to them in every scene! Well now we have a new name to add to that list: The Stabilizer! Peter O'Brian (star of Rambu (aka The Intruder) ) has made it back to Internal Bleeding in a movie we like to think of as "unintentionally classic". Rambu gave you just a taste of American actors in an Indonesian film, but this movie takes it to new heights never before reached in cinema history. Let's dive in and see why Peter O'Brian is called The Stabilizer!
Ferocious Female Freedom Fighters
What do you get when you cross an Indonesian women’s wrestling movie, Troma Entertainment, and an action star who talks like Elvis? You get one of the funniest redubs in film history… Ferocious Female Freedom Fighters! FFFF is the story of Bambi, an exceptional Greco-roman wrestler on her way to the top. Unfortunately her brother has come down with a fatal case of dickosis, a made-up ailment where a buildup of semen goes straight to your brain. The only remedy is surgery, or oral release by a hooker. It’s a shame, but I guess there aren’t any 10 year old prostitutes in the Philippines… I had heard differently!
