Trailer Tuesdays: Flight of the Living Dead
So it's October now, and you know what that means? Horror Month! So in the first Trailer Tuesday of horror month, we bring you the trailer for the unconventional horror movie "Flight of the Living Dead":
While we reviewed FLOTD (aka Plane Dead) back in April '08, it really doesn't get a lot of recognition. While it's a blatant rip off of Snakes of a Plane, it does have some pretty decent moments of it's own. Really, how can you go wrong with zombies in the close confines of an aircraft? I hope you're not claustrophobic, because it's like a giant flying aluminum coffin!
Ninja III: The Domination
Ninjas are the closest things to comic book super heroes that we have ever seen in the history of the world. They can evaporate into thin air, they can destroy entire villages with their bare hands, and they can walk on water. I've learned quite a few things from watching Ninja III: The Domination, and one of those things I've learned is that a killer ninja can transfer his soul through his sword to another person. One other thing I've learned is when those crazy ninja spirits try to take over your body, you might be able to hold them off for a little by practicing aerobics while putting on crappy 80's pop music that was hastily written minutes before recording - but that's only because those crazy ninja spirits are just messing with your head. You can never resist crazy ninja spirits.
Dead Snow

I've reviewed movies about Nazi Zombies before - the ill conceived "Shock Waves", and "War of the Dead" come to mind, so it's not like it's a new concept (even Zombie Lake used the idea.) It's an idea that you would think would have wild success. Just mention the ideas of Nazis and zombies in the same sentence and you pique the interest of a lot of horror fans. So, if this is such a great combination of two gruesome archetypes, why did it take until 2009's Død snø (aka Dead Snow) to make a film utilizing Nazi Zombies to this degree of goodness?
Dead Set

Television isn't something we usually talk about here at Internal Bleeding, because let's face it, TJ Hooker hasn't been on in years, and something like Trueblood and all that vampire BS really doesn't appeal to me. One thing that I've always thought was missing was a zombie show based on a really interesting story that focuses on the survivors, and their attempt to get out of a scary situation while the undead horde bears down on them. My prayers were answered when I found Dead Set, a British television show that centers around a zombie outbreak that happens during a season of Big Brother. Because the participants in the Big Brother reality show are cut off from communication with the outside world, they're entirely oblivious to the fact that the world around them is being over run, and their production crew is in imminent danger as well.
