Twins… Didn’t everyone at one point wish they had a twin? Someone you could switch classes with or someone you could play pranks on unknowing bystanders? Maybe you and your twin could bulk up and look like giants compared to normal people and dress like your colorblind mother set your clothes out for you each morning. If the latter was ever your secret wish, then the 1994 flick “Twin Sitters” starring David and Peter Paul might be right up your alley.

Everyone has heard the saying, “you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.” Well sometimes you can say “you don’t know what you’ve got until you see an article about it on ABC News!” Such was the case a few months ago when the guys here at IB came across The Room. We watched, knowing it was a BAD movie. But I don’t think we were quite prepared at the time to appreciate just how bad it is. So after seeing that in a few short months this movie (which is 6 years old) has developed a cult following and is now being called “the Citizen Kane of bad movies”, we just had to sit down and watch it again. We now bring to you the brilliant misery that is Tommy Wiseau‘s lifelong dream, his baby, his masterpiece… we bring you The Room!
You would think that guns were a new invention in the 80′s, especially considering all the action movies where the plot revolved around some kind of “SUPERGUN!!!~!” Prime examples of this are Equalizer 2000, and to a lesser extent, Blastfighter. These are the types of guns that people kill for, and in the right hands they’re strong enough to change the outcome of a war. Well, you can add Rapid Fire to the list of movies revolving around a gun, and in this case, it’s a multi-purpose gun that fires 3 different kinds of rounds – shotgun, machine gun or grenades – depending on which barrel is active. Before he was a TV reality star, Hulk Hogan was an actor. Before he was an actor on hits such as the TV show “Thunder in Paradise” and movies like “3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain” and “Santa with Muscles“, he was a successful wrestler. Now, you may not believe this, but Hulk Hogan’s first big starring role was in a movie called No Holds Barred which was a movie about wrestling! I’m sure it’s a tough transition from successful wrestler to successful movie star, and No Holds Barred helped bridge that gap – and based on his performance here, it showed us what kind of star Hogan was to become in the future.

Gymnastics and martial arts, sounds like the perfect mix. You could be doing a back flip and kick some dude in the cherries, or maybe do some crazy cartwheel and become a windmill of kicks and punches. Maybe you could even be a world champion gymnast with a mullet and become the best hope for the SIA (the Special Intelligence Agency, of course) to compete in a deadly game that could influence the fate of the world! Maybe not, but it makes for an interesting if not comical film by acclaimed martial arts film director Robert Clouse, 1985′s GYMKATA!
